of AKVP
Anandakuti
Vidyapeeth, established in 1952 by late Ven. Dr. Bhikkhu Amritananda
in a Buddhist monastery called Anandakuti Bihar, is a residential
High School. It has been providing quality education to its
student for last 48 years. Many a times the student have topped
the list of those students who had passed the School Leaving
Certificate (S.L.C.) Examination and have been among the toppers,
very often, in the last decades. Staffed with experienced
and trained teachers, the school always stands for overall
development of its students - academic, mental, moral and
physical. Since its founding to the present time it has been
able to provide necessary infrastructures required to develop
it into a full fledged boarding high school. Now the school
enjoys recognition as one of the best school in the country.
It has also the credit of running successfully for 9 years.
Ananda Kuti Science College which had to be closed down under
the New Education System Plan introduced in the country in
1970. Instead, the school opened up a girl's school, which
is running smoothly and successfully. The school also have
a plan to upgrade the High School again in to a Higher Secondary
in near future.
The
school has always been taking appropriate measures to maintain
its standard and improve upon it periodically -

As
the school was founded with an objective to cater to quality
education at a minimum cost possible for the students
on a nonprofit making basis and to develop it institutionally,
it endeavors, on a regular basis, too. |

develop among the students skills of language, Nepali
in general and English in particular, with special emphasis
on listening and speaking, reading and writing English
language. |

Teach
dry and difficult subjects like Science and Mathematics
interestingly and effectively through demonstration and
practical works. |

teaching aids and materials as frequently as possible
to make teaching learning process easier, more pleasant
and understandable. |

Maximize
actual teaching days by curtailing unnecessary holidays
and shortening the duration of examination. |

Strive
incessantly for mental and physical development of the
students through co/extra curricular activities. |

Emphasize
on moral character building of the students. |
|
